Guidance at CWL

Welcome to the Guidance page of Charles W. Longer Elementary School.

My name is Mrs. Megan Schneider, and I will be your child's elementary school counselor. In my role as a school counselor, I work passionately to help students achieve academic success, develop an understanding of career awareness and opportunities, and support students' personal and social development.

I started my professional career as an elementary school teacher. In addition to the Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education I received from Millersville University, I also hold a Master of Education from Saint Francis University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University.

As an elementary school counselor, I am grateful for the opportunity to work with students during times of need, provide assistance in problem solving, be a listening ear, and encourage students to achieve their full potential.
